Yes, I love Melbourne...

Melbourne is a great place to live and work.

And a fantastic place to visit.

Be it for a city trip over a long weekend or for much longer, my lovely Melbourne will keep you entertained.

On this site you will find plenty of places to stay while you are down here, and many ideas about what to see and do.
Do you know about a great place to stay or thing to do and it is not yet on my site ?
Let me know via the form on this site !

So, why do I love this place so much ?

Let me be straight with you. I don't necessarily think that Melbourne is the most beautiful city in the world. It is after all hard to beat a Sydney city harbour !

But boy, where do you find a city where there is so much to see and do ?
Events like Formula 1, Australia Open, the comedy festival, Melbourne Cup Day, AFL Grand Final and many other cultural or entertaining events are being held all year round.
Whenever you are here, there is always something fun happening !

And I haven't even started about the amazing choice in different restaurants. A melting pot of cultures and nationalities, Melbourne brings together spices and flavours from all over the world !

Feel like shopping ? Come to Melbourne !
In the CBD, in Chapel Street or in one of the many malls or outlet factories, Melbourne is sure to satisfy you !

And as if that is not enough, around the city there is so much to see and do as well !
Want some examples ?
Well, how about the Great Ocean Road and the Twelve Apostles, Phillip Island penguin parade, vineyards left, right and center, Wilson's Promontory, Dandenongs, Grampians and many other national and state parks made for hiking and camping (something my family and I love to do), skiing fields and the list goes on.

What about the beautiful beaches ?
Go sit by the bay on a sunny, non-windy day, look at the perfect blue water and dream away with a good book and a large latte. A Sunday afternoon activity I love to engage in frequently !
