Hotel Grand Chancellor Melbourne

A 4-star hotel built in 1960 and last renovated in 2002, the Hotel Grand Chancellor Melbourne may not be the ritziest of all hotels in Melbourne.

It does however provide good rooms, good service, good food and drinks and a good atmosphere.

You'll find that the rooms at the Hotel Grand Chancellor are very clean and sufficiently sized with double or twin beds in each room. Sometimes twin beds are zippered to make doubles, however, which can take some getting used to.

Each room is conveniently equipped with a color television, in-house movies, a basic radio, a minibar, a refrigerator and coffee and tea facilities
.

Everything you expect from a good hotel! It should be noted that discounts are available for large business or social groups. And did we mention that the hotel also has a heated rooftop swimming pool and sauna? Just perfect for good views of the city while cooling off!

From the reception area right through to your room, you are serviced by efficient, courteous, and friendly hotel staff. Laundry and valet services are available, but cost extra. And if you have kids in tow, you can tour Melbourne and leave the kids in the hotel with convenient babsitting services so you and your spouse can go off touring the city on your own!

The Hotel Grand Chancellor has in-house dining and drinking establishments.

The Footlights Restaurant and Encore Cafe & Bar are available for you, so dining in and just relaxing at the hotel is always a possibility if you don't feel like taking in the city.

One absolute must-try at the Hotel Grand Chancellor is the delicious breakfast buffet and complimentary tapas!

You will come back if only for these great foods served by good people in a good hotel. More Information can be found at here at their website.
